UKIP Says - Stop Letchworth Post Office Move

The proposed relocation of Letchworth’s Main Post Office to a cramped newsagent’s shop, well away from the town’s centre, will inconvenience thousands of residents and hinder business.  The Post Office claims that continuing losses force this decision

As the Letchworth Garden City Heritage Foundation exists to promote the best interests of the Garden City, surely it is appropriate for The Foundation to take the lead in preventing this disaster?

The Foundation has the resources to negotiate a financial arrangement with the Post Office, which would resolve the problem.

With determination and goodwill, any legal obstacles could be overcome.
